The Challenge
TagEnergy is a fast-growing renewable energy owner-operator managing a multi-market portfolio of wind, solar, and battery assets. As the business scaled, asset and energy management teams relied on manual, fragmented data processes to produce performance reports and benchmark assets across markets.
To support its transition to a global operating platform, TagEnergy needed a centralised data solution to automate reporting, unify asset and market data, and provide a scalable foundation for advanced analytics.

Our Approach
Hypercube partnered with TagEnergy’s leadership team to design and deliver a scalable renewable asset data platform on Databricks and Azure, providing a single source of truth across asset and market data.
Working through collaborative workshops, Hypercube defined reporting and benchmarking requirements before building robust data pipelines to ingest, standardise, and store high-frequency operational and market data. Existing analyst workflows were automated within the platform, enabling consistent performance reporting, benchmarking, and analysis without manual intervention.
The platform was designed to scale with TagEnergy’s growing portfolio, laying the foundation for advanced analytics, optimisation, and machine learning use cases.
